It's been a long time since I really sit down and wrote something down in this blog.. too many things have been happening that I feel that there's just not enough time [and no life threathening need] to jot anything down. Thus that explains why there's been some forwarded [though I wouldn't say 'junk' cause it's terribly amusing] jokes in the past.

Anyway the events of the past few days have seemed somewhat overwhelming and I do want to freeze the moment so that I can look at it some time in the future [ever tried reading an old personal diary? It's so much fun when you stroll back in the memory lane and realise how silly you've been when you were younger, and how you wish you'd get a second chance to take the other path]..

Anyway, it's officially May [finally].. which opens up a ton of excitement around the corner, but off course I'd have to make the big leap to pass the dreaded hurdles of the finals first. I'm so happy with the way things are going so far this semester.. I guess I just have to keep up the 'good' work " Yeah! I feel GOOD" ..

Today I'll be doing my last experiment of the semester.. " Luminol and Chemiluminescence" for my Organic lab.. we also have quiz 5 tonight [and at this moment, I still need to complete the worksheet for the eugenol experiment].. I just came back from recitation a moment ago, and as soon as I walked in Sarah, the new supervisor, was in a really traumatic distress; apparently Shaun's[her husband, who is a really cool ice hockey player who had just tore a ligament about 3 days ago] grand-dad had just committed suicide last night due to the fact that he just found out that he had cancer.. and Sarah and Shaun [who is now supporting a 'lovely' new pair of crutches as his latest must-have 'fashion accessory'] is gonna take a trip to Texas to attend the funeral on Saturday.. leaving me in charge of opening up the cashier's office tomorrow morning at 5.45 am.. ["great.." I can't wait!]. For some reason there's a string of unfortunate events that's been happening to Sarah recently. Just yesterday, she was telling me that before Shaun tore the ligament, his grand aunt died just last week or something, then during the funeral, another one of his aunts had a stroke and had to be taken into an ICU. Then as Shaun was talking to his mum, he said " Don't these things happened in threes?".. which according to Sarah is like a superstition that they have that bad things come in threes and then that very same day, he tore the ligament while practicing ice hockey.. which just shows that he's the third victim [or so we though] and above all that, we have this suicide 'thing'.. I'm just shock at all this, what else could go wrong? [maybe I don't wanna know the answer to that!]

Anyway, yesterday we had a luncheon here at the gym. It was an event to honor the students who have given an excellent performance in their services here and in the St. Paul gym. Sarah told me that I'm gonna be getting an award for all my contributions working here for the last 21 months [coming in at 5:45am and subbing for almost everyone, and filling in for the front desk -sometimes, bla.. bla.. bla..] Bryce was suppose to be getting an award too but he didn't show up, which is actually a very strange thing cause he usually calls us beforehand if he needs time off for his medications, operations or check-ups cause he's not really well.. I can't remember exactly what's wrong with him. I think it's something to do with his kidneys, cause last year he showed me his operation scars on his tummy, and I think he's only got one kidney left right now and he was waiting for a donor. So when he didn't turn up for his shift on Tuesday, everyone was getting worried about him, cause even when we call his home, nobody is picking up the phone and nobody's returning his calls or anything. So we're really worried, nobody's seen him since Monday.. He's suppose to get married this August to Andy [who used to work at the equipment room before].. I so hope everything is well with him and that he just didn't bother to call cause he's too busy with assignments or something non-life-threatening like that. Anyway, the lunch was a really formal event, everyone was dressed up in shirts and tie and proper formal clothing.. I was kinda shocked at the whole scale of the thing as I walked into the room, I'm just glad I had something appropriate on. Anyway, there were lots of speeches from each department as they give out the awards, and about 20 students received their certificates. The whole thing was video taped and lots of pictures were taken.. and over all it was a great event.. plus the fact that it's pay day, which sums up to a great day..The fact that our scholar money wasn't in was a bit of a slacker but I'm not too worried about it.. [I'm sure it'll be in soon] Then we got an email form MARA saying that they'll reimburse my flight ticket and do the reorientation in July.. and above that I had an offer from Shell Malaysia to do an industrial training, which is basically an internship, [my dad said that it's usually paid]. So I'm really looking forward to that.

The Anserian ( Anak-Anak MRSM Beseri Alumni Association) will be having a grand reunion for all the ex's [from batch 1 to batch 15] on 7-9th of June back in Beseri, Perlis.. and so I'm really looking forward to that. On the 9th I'll be meeting Tom at KTM Station in Arau, he'll be visiting Malaysia for 2 weeks after a 2 week stay in Thailand [all the way from Bangkok city to the Hat Yai beaches].. He'll be staying at the Kelana Jaya Komplex Tabung Haji hostel [he's thinking of converting to Islam there] which is about 5 minutes drive from my house. At first he was gonna stay in our guest room but my grandma is coming over from Mersing to see me when I'm back in Malaysia. From Arau, I'm planning to take Tom to UUM to visit my sister, Nora, and just take her out to hang out with us in Alor Setar. Then I'm gonna take him to USM to visit my best friend, Nang Khairun Nisak, and also to visit Yasmin's hometown, Penang. Then we'll go staraight home. I'll have to make sure I update my P lisence first before he comes in June. It's gonna be so much fun! My mum and dad's already planning on taking us to the beach and some other things.

Anyway, it's gonna be a hectic month this May. I should get back to my studying..
